Join Kelli and Anne for their 195th NEW episode!

First they talk about their recent trip on a Virgin Voyages cruise. This was their first time back on a big ship since the pandemic began and they talk about how all the protocols worked. They also talk about the new cruise line and all of the interesting and unique parts of this brand. Next they talk about their upcoming trip to Baltimore to see the Green Bay Packers play the Baltimore Ravens for their son’s birthday. Finally they promote next week’s show with special guest Sandra Bernhard!

Their special guest today is Jove Meyer. He is an award-winning event planner and designer and you cannot believe the weddings he designs. He is a frequent guest on The Rachel Ray Show and a passionate advocate for inclusivity and diversity in the events industry. He talks about growing up in California in a very religious background and how he made his way to NYC and coming out. He chats about how wedding planning started out because he helped a friend plan her wedding and it has now turned into his own massive business. He also talks about all of the challenges in the wedding industry during covid and how things are starting to get better. He also talks about how important diversity and inclusivity is to him in the events industry and how he makes his company commitment to that path with the Ally Pledge.
