Their special guest is Kenny Kahn, the founder of Music Land Gift Foundation. Through his own journey with cancer combined with his love of music and philanthropy, he created this amazing non-profit so that patients going through the struggles of cancer do not have to do it in silence.  He has an incredible and very personal story about the power of music in the healing process. He talks about how when he was going through his treatments he noticed that so many people were going through it in silence. For him, music made the journey more bearable. His family and friends started sharing playlists with him and it meant the world to feel connected though music. This prompted a desire to work with a team of trusted family, associates and friends to find a transformative idea that uses music to help patients and caregivers through a cancer journey. That was the beginning of Music Land Gift Foundation. They have begun supplying headphones, iPads and music stations to help patients experience the healing power of music while in treatment AND they have a web app so that you can create videos, messages and playlists to send to friends and family going through treatment or recovering.
