Next they talk about Anne’s recent show in NYC and how happy she is to be back on tour. Finally they talk a little more about packing and preparing for the big move.
Their special guest is writer, performer and podcaster Amy Jo Jackson. They begin by talking about how much they loved seeing Amy Jo and former guest Natalie Joy Johnson at Joe’s Pub in their new show Doplesanger. They literally blew the roof off with their talent, humor and all around sass. It’s a must see! Next Amy Jo talks about growing up in Texas and how she found her love for acting and singing which let her to Boston Conservatory and straight to NYC. Next they chat about Amy Jo’s work as a dialect coach on shows like Kinky Boots and how they had to make a decision to balance the coaching with acting as to know usurp one with the other. Next they talk about Amy Jo’s solo shows with Musical Director Brian Nash with their most recent one being The Brass Menagerie. Amy Jo has also written an original musical called Hatchetation that is currently in development. Lastly Amy Jo talks about her podcast, "And Almost Starring", that they co-hosts with their partner.
